Hyatt Regency unveils new waterpark
on Indian Wells Golf Resort campus

The next time you visit Indian Wells Golf Resort, you might want to pack a bathing suit along with your clubs.

That’s because the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, which sits next door, just unveiled a $21 million renovation that includes the HyTides Plunge Waterpark and Desert Twist Lazy River.

The Hyatt is a frequent destination of golfers who come to play the award-winning Celebrity and Players courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort, and now visitors have even more reason to come.

The new waterpark, available to guests of the Hyatt, features two three-story waterslides – the tallest in the Coachella Valley – that race along separate routes and twist and turn above the resort’s seven pools and the 450-foot lazy river.

“Our new waterpark is a game-changer,” said Lisa Luna, Director of Marketing for the Hyatt Regency. “This will be such a great addition to our existing pools, and since all of our water features are cooled and heated depending on the time of year, it will definitely be a year-round experience for everyone.”

Some of the other upgrades to the Hyatt include a re-imagined Roadrunner Cafe for poolside or al fresco dining, and a new splash pad for kids that offers another water slide (without height restrictions), fountains, water canons, dumping buckets of water, and more.

In addition to the waterpark, some of the other renovations include a refreshed lobby experience, a transformation of the Citrus Marketplace & Cafe, and upgrades to the conference center that include new furnishings, color palette and design.

“With a backdrop of mountain and palm trees, our guests are able to enjoy our resort on a whole new level,” Luna said.

The Hyatt Regency is one of four hotels that make up the campus at Indian Wells Golf Resort. The others include Miramonte Resort & Spa, the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, and the Indian Wells Resort Hotel. Click on the link for each property to check for availability.

At the Hyatt, if you book your stay from now until December 23 you can receive 25 percent off the standard rate with code BCBACK.
